About Us

Vancouver Playback Theatre was founded in May 1999 and is composed of a number of multi-talented professionals with skills and experience in many areas, including acting, singing, motivational speaking, training, group facilitation, counselling, organizational development and leadership.

We have provided numerous public and private performances and conducted highly creative team-building and conflict resolution workshops for a wide range of clients. Our audiences and clients span the health, education, and not-for-profit sectors, including social service agencies, colleges, high schools, humanitarian organizations, youth at risk, and adults with disabilities.

Past Projects

BC Sunshine Coast

Vancouver Playback Theatre performed for youth on BC's Sunshine Coast on the theme of making healthy choices around the use of drugs and alcohol. A Youth Playback Theatre group was formed, dedicated to sharing this message.

Disability Resource Network

Vancouver Playback Theatre performed at the closing session for the Disability Resource Network conference on February 20, 2007. Delegates were counsellers, instructors, work experience faciliatators, coordinators - all involvd in providing programs and services to students with disabilites.
