ANA CARRIZALES is a actress and filmmaker with a background in psychology,who has been a passionate storyteller since her days at Miami Dade College where she won an NBC-Universal Screenwriting Scholarship and graduated with the Award for Best Story. After relocating to Vancouver, she wrote the short story, Playback, which was featured in a collection of stories at the Vancouver Public Library. Ana adapted Playback into a short film that she produced, directed and acted. It was an official selection at the 2009 Vancouver Latin American Film Festival and she is currently in post-production on her latest film project, Prayers for Dawn. As a professional coach, Ana also works as facilitator for various organizations in town where she writes and delivers programs designed to support multi-cultural families dealing with stress.
